Taylor joined the Army in November of 2017, when he was just 20 years old.  Shortly after basic training, he was deployed to Korea where he began experiencing a multitude of health issues. While there, Taylor was emergency medevacked to Brooke Army Medical Center in San Antonio, where he was diagnosed with cancer. His mother, Heidi, immediately left her home in San Francisco to be by his bedside but with two young sons, needed to return home. That wouldn’t stop her from being there for her son during his battle against cancer!

Since Taylor’s diagnosis, Heidi has been consistently flying almost 1,500 miles back and forth on the weekends, leaving on Friday to be with Taylor and then returning home Monday morning to look after the rest of her family. Through the Major Illnesses TAP, Luke’s Wings has provided ten flights for Heidi and her sons to travel from California to Texas for Taylor’s treatments. With your support, we are ready to serve this family for as long as they need!

Total Value of Flights: $3,948
