In early 2016, U.S. Navy Captain Anne-Marie H. was diagnosed with a malignant brain tumor and immediately began receiving treatment at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in Bethesda, Maryland. Due to the aggressive nature of her cancer, doctors recommended surgery, chemotherapy and radiation. During her treatment, Anne-Marie required constant care; a duty her brother stepped up to provide. Luke’s Wings provided a flight for her brother to serve as her non-medical attendant, making all the difference in her spirit and motivation. Anne-Marie is pictured here between medical appointments!
