In this speech from the 2018 Heroes Gala, U.S. Army Colonel Cary C. Harbaugh, Director of the Warrior Care Program (Care Coalition), shares personal reflections on his family’s military service and offers an inside look at the mission of the Care Coalition.

Colonel Harbaugh also highlights how nonprofit partnerships, specifically with organizations like Luke’s Wings, play a critical role in supporting wounded, ill, and injured members of U.S. Special Operations Forces and their families. Since 2015, Luke’s Wings has provided hundreds of flights for Special Operations service members and their families, including support for funerals.
