The Luke’s Wings Team was honored to attend the United States Special Operations Command (USSOCOM) and United States Central Command (USCENTCOM) Combined New Year’s Reception at MacDill Air Force Base in Tampa, Florida.

We deeply value our partnership with the United States Special Operations Command through the USSOCOM Warrior Care Program Care Coalition. This collaboration is central to our Special Operations Transportation Assistance Program (S.O.T.A.P.) – a dedicated initiative of Luke’s Wings that provides flights for the loved ones of Special Operators during recovery, rehabilitation, and certain times of duress. These elite groups include Navy SEALs, Army Green Berets, Army Rangers, Marine MARSOC, among others. Through this partnership, Luke’s Wings has supported hundreds of injured Special Operators and their families.

Since 2008, Luke’s Wings has formalized five major program lines to serve the active duty and Veteran community best and has delivered over 17,000 airplane tickets to military families in need. Each program meets a unique need, reinforcing our belief that no matter the circumstance, families should stay together when it matters most. 

We are incredibly grateful for the dedication and sacrifices of all our military service members, and we especially recognize the daily strength and sacrifices made by the Special Operations community and their families. It is a privilege to support those who serve our Nation.
