Support our Nation's Heroes Throughout Recovery
(November 11, 2021 – WASHINGTON, D.C.) This Veterans Day, SRS Distribution and SRS Raise the Roof Foundation are partnering with Luke’s Wings as a Legacy Hero Presenting Sponsor to launch the “No Soldier Spends Christmas Alone” campaign. This year, Luke’s Wings honored SRS Raise the Roof foundation as the first Legacy Hero Sponsor for its longstanding support and dedication to the organization’s mission. The campaign launches on Veterans Day, November 11, 2021, at Rocklands Barbeque and Grilling Company in Arlington, VA from 11 AM – 3 PM. SRS’s continued support helps Luke’s Wings ensure service members and veterans are surrounded by their families during the holidays when they need it most.
“We are honored to help support you and the wounded heroes and their families you serve”
Luke’s Wings was founded in 2008 after learning that the government does not always provide flights for family or loved ones to be bedside after a service member is injured. This is where Luke’s Wings steps in to fill the gap for the months and years ahead. Over the past 13 years, the organization has provided over 13,000 flights reuniting wounded, ill, and injured service members, veterans, and their loved ones during recovery and rehabilitation. The campaign runs from Veterans Day, November 11th through January 1st and donations can be made at give.lukeswings.org. For a $50 donation, the donor will receive an exclusive Luke’s Wings 2021 Christmas ornament, for a donation of $350, the ornament will be accompanied by a card that indicates the ornament sent a soldier home for the holidays. SRS Raise the roof and their continued support as a Legacy Hero Sponsor will ensure that soldiers are reunited with their families this holiday season!
